Managing Director, Dr Warren McKenzie accepted an invitation for HB11 Energy to be recognised as among Australia’s Top young ‘deeptech’ companies showcased at Tech23 2021.
Invitations were extended only to companies deemed to have “the potential to create new industries, smarter solutions and a better world”.
Now in its 13th year, Tech23 is a national forum that takes pride in signposting the capabilities of Australia’s game-changers and sparking valuable and timely connections. It was held this year in Sydney on December 15 at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf. Selected to be one of the ‘Top 23’ this year, HB11 took part in this unique Showcase attended by heavy hitting Industry Leaders and a switched on audience of over 300 people interested in viewing a window on the future.
The event provided a platform for all 23 companies to amplify how their solutions are addressing some of the biggest challenges the world faces, with one of the key topics this year being the generation of clean, safe and reliable energy.
Dr McKenzie personally represented HB11 Energy.
